St Kentigern Hospice are looking for a permanent staff nurse, working 22.5 hours per week, to join their pioneering nurse led model of hospice care. We are recruiting for a staff nurse to join our clinical team working flexibly across our wellbeing hwb day therapy service and on our inpatient unit.
We provide specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting illness, who are referred and admitted to our unit for assessment and symptom management, rehabilitation, respite care or end of life care. You will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients and those close to them.
You will have the time to focus entirely on your patients and have the unique opportunity to truly make a difference on them and be creative in having a profound impact on your patients and their loved ones' lives.

* To continually develop clinical expertise and act as a positive role model promoting a high standard of care to fulfil the St Kentigern philosophy of care.
* Ensure good working relationships and effective communications between all members of the multidisciplinary team ensuring a high standard of co-ordinated patient care
* To deliver evidence based care to patients and their carers in line with their physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs
* To embed the practices and culture of rehabilitative palliative care to effectively support people with long term life limiting conditions to live well
