2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (Mon- Fri)
Base Pay rate: $34.58-40.50 with an additional $0.91 shift differential

Who You Are & What You’ll Do:
As the Automation and Controls Technician, you will spearhead the development and implementation of automation projects to enhance the efficiency and safety of manufacturing processes. This role involves designing and programming automated systems, conducting PLC programming, and VFD integration to optimize production equipment, particularly for ice cream manufacturing.
* Design and implement automation projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and safety.
* Program and configure automated systems, including PLCs and VFDs.
* Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring equipment readiness and optimal performance.
* Perform complex troubleshooting of automated systems to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation.
* Engage in continuous improvement projects with the Focus Improvement team to streamline processes and increase productivity.
* Collaborate with the engineering departments on capital projects to advance automation capabilities.
* Serve as an active member of the HazMat team.
In addition, there will be exposure to allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, peanuts, wheat (gluten), soybean, and cinnamon.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
* High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an associate degree or higher in automation technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
* Completion of training courses specific to Rockwell Automation products.
* Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation hardware and software.
* Proficiency in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Rockwell Automation PLCs and HMI/SCADA systems.
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
* Proficiency in using GE Proficy iFix for developing and maintaining HMI/SCADA applications.
