Are you a dedicated Social Worker looking to make a difference in safeguarding children? Join Dudley’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team and be part of a close-knit, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
You will work within the MASH, collaborating with representatives from Police, Health, Education, Early Help, and Probation. You will serve as the first point of contact for professionals seeking advice and making referrals. Your role will involve screening referrals and recommending appropriate levels of intervention. You will provide advice to professionals when information received does not require a referral or immediate social work/care response. Engaging in critical and reflective discussions with colleagues to ensure well-informed recommendations and ensuring timely action on child protection concerns will also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
You must hold Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, possess a full UK driving licence, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
