As a Plant Technician you are highly skilled and motivated team member operating the line equipment, applying all safety, quality and line operational standards to drive towards the line goals. Equipment ownership and/ or key system ownership online is one of the essential drivers in achieving the line goals. Operate packing line processes to maximise results Attend to and correct machine stoppages and to rectify where possible. Carry out equipment and/ or system ownership tasks, CIL, defect identification and PO creation. Carry out defect fixing and basic mechanical tasks by following documented procedures. Ensure equipment is running inline with centre lines and agreed standards (e.g. machine calibration, speed, weight and crimp adjustments, etc) and highlight and fix any issues before proceeding. Participate in changeovers, process adjustments and product changes on line following defined standards.
