Market leading company are seeking a payroll assistant to join their successful company who will help support the full payroll process, including managing SSP, SMP, starters, and leavers. You'll ensure compliance with statutory regulations and help meet critical deadlines.\n Responsibilities/ Objectives:\n \nCheck electronic starter/leaver/change forms \nUpload weekly/monthly hours \nCalculate and process SSP/SMP/SPP/SAP \nDownload and check Tax Codes/Student loans from the Inland Revenue \nCheck and enter P46/P45 tax forms \nComplete benefit forms / Mortgage references \nIsle of Man Payroll/Guernsey Payroll/ Eire Payroll \nProcess data to strict timetable deadlines ensuring that all data received in payroll is accurate and ready for uploading \nCheck trial run data that has been imputed by payroll team and communicate any errors back to management for corrections to be made. \nChecking and paying over of AOE/CSA order deductions \nChecking and paying over of voluntary deductions \nLiaise with branches / Head Office colleagues \nDeal with any payroll queries as they arise from colleagues or 3rd party via telephone, E-mail & post \nRun any necessary reports required by other departments in Excel \nOpen post & filing Experience and Skills Required\n \nExperience of working within a Payroll function.
