On a day to day basis the Consultant Psychiatrist will be in a close working relationship with the Home Treatment Team in the North Locality including Redditch, Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest. The team has two subgroups, one dedicated to Redditch and Bromsgrove area with a base in Redditch and the second providing service for the Wyre Forest Area based in Kidderminster. The teams are made up of Clinical leads, Senior and Junior Nurses, Social workers, OT, Recovery Workers and has access to psychology including close working relationship with the Community Neighbourhood mental Health Teams and Inpatient units. The post holder will have a close working relationship on clinical maters with both Multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with the Home Treatment Clinical Leads to maintain ongoing communication with the Inpatient, Crisis Team, Liaison Team and Community Services in order to promote a safe a seamless service. There is an overall Lead for HT North and South Localities overseeing leadership and management of the service. Supervise and manage two SAS doctors (1WTE) within the team covering Redditch and Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest locality. On a more strategic level they will relate to the leadership and management structures of the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit. From an overall operational prospective the post holder will be accountable to the Clinical Directors and professional responsibility will relate to the Medical Director; all are ultimately responsible within the Trust to the Chief Executive.
