The Best Connection Walsall is seeking an experienced Class 1 Flat Bed Driver to join our team for nationwide deliveries. If you have at least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience, along with essential flatbed and strapping skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Nationwide deliveries: Covering various locations across the UK.
2-4 deliveries per day: Manage a varied and manageable daily workload.
Strapping & securing loads: Experience in securing flatbed loads using straps is essential.
Driving: Safe and efficient operation of a Class 1 vehicle for deliveries and collections.
Essential Requirements:
12 months Class 1 experience (Flatbed experience preferred).
Strapping experience is a must.
Flatbed experience is essential for the role.
Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
Flexibility with start times between 05:00 and 07:00.
A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Pay Rates:
£15.50 per hour (Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed).
Alternatively, £19.50 per hour through one of our approved umbrella companies.
