1:1 Learning Support Assistant needed for SEND College.
Are you an experienced LSA looking for a new challenge? Do you want the opportunity to enrich the lives of young people with Special Needs?
The college is based in South Birmingham and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 18+ who are unable to attend mainstream education.
The college is seeking a positive, enthusiastic LSA to start immediately on a long-term supply basis. You will be working with students who have autism, ASD, ADHD, and display challenging behaviour, so exceptional behaviour management skills are a must.
The role will include:
1. Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
2. Working with pupils who require additional support
3. Leading group work
4. Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
5. Providing personal care for students
