Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients with various conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health disorders. Identify individual needs and goals, and create personalized treatment plans to improve functional abilities and independence.

Treatment Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans aimed at improving patients' physical, psychological, and cognitive functioning. Provide therapy sessions, including physical rehabilitation, cognitive training, and advice on adaptive techniques and equipment.

Rehabilitation and Therapy: Support patients in regaining independence in daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and work-related tasks. Help patients adapt to physical or cognitive impairments through practical techniques and strategies to enhance their quality of life.

Equipment Provision and Advice: Assess the need for, recommend, and fit appropriate assistive equipment, such as wheelchairs, walking aids, and other daily living aids. Provide training and support for both patients and their families in using adaptive equipment.

Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, rehabilitation process, and the role of occupational therapy in managing symptoms. Promote health and well-being through teaching strategies that support self-care, home management, and community integration.

Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and speech therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions
