Futur3s South West is a dynamic, compassionate organisation dedicated to providing Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16-18 in Taunton, Somerset. We are now looking for caring and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers.
About the Role.

As a Support Worker at Futur3s South West, you will be instrumental in helping young people navigate their journey towards independence, providing guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally while contributing to a team dedicated to making a real impact in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and Guidance: Offer tailored support and advice to young people in our homes, helping them develop life skills and achieve their goals.
* Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of our young people by adhering to safeguarding policies and providing a safe space for them to thrive.
* Signposting: Help young people access vital services and resources, ensuring they have the support they need for a successful transition to adulthood.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with company policies, ensuring the highest standards of documentation.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care and to create a supportive, welcoming environment for both young people and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
* Compassionate and Motivated Individuals: You should have a genuine passion for working with young people and a commitment to helping them succeed.
* Experience: Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a support environment, such as early years settings, residential homes, or adult care settings.
* Qualifications: An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided, and successful candidates will be enrolled on their Level 3 qualification after their probation period.
* Enhanced DBS Check: A Child & Adult Workforce enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and well-being of the young people in our care.

Expected Hours:
A minimum of 40 hours per week for full time. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Overtime available.
