We’re investing in our Data capabilities and have 2 newly created opportunities for experienced Data Analysts to join our Data Delivery Team. As a Data Analyst within our Chief Data Office, you’ll play a key role in transforming data into valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
You’ll analyse complex data sets, interpret trends, and deliver actionable recommendations to optimise business performance. You’ll report into the Head of Data Delivery and collaborate closely with business units, applying advanced analytical techniques and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support data-driven solutions that enhance our competitive edge.
What will your day look like?
• Collect, clean, and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform key business strategies.
• Design, create, and maintain dynamic dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements, provide reporting solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
• Optimise data extraction and management processes, leveraging cloud-based platforms like AWS Redshift or Azure Synapse.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Continuously explore new data analytics techniques and tools to improve efficiency and analytical capability within the team.
• Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast business outcomes and guide decision-making processes.
What do we expect from you?
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to data interpretation
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and manipulation.
• Expertise in data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Redshift or Azure Synapse.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• An understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques would be desirable
