We currently have a vacancy for a Residential Child Care Worker within our Children’s Residential Services. The residential children’s service in Stirling is committed to providing a safe, stable and nurturing home setting for looked after children. We are seeking Residential Childcare Workers to supplement our existing care team. Experience working with children & young people is essential and an insight into adverse childhood experiences. You will be committed to maintaining a positive, safe and nurturing environment for children and young people whilst working collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies.
Applicants should be willing to work across the shift patterns which include day shift, twilight and night shift.

Requirements
You should hold an SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 plus HNC Social Services (or an award of certificated knowledge with 96 credits at or above SCQF level 7) or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Worker in a Residential Child Care Service.
Full UK driving licence required.
Applicants must be registered with the SSSC (Residential Child Care) at appointment. In return, you will be provided with regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your existing skills.
