As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks that contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of all purchases, ensuring timely processing and payment.
Operating Lease Ownership: Take charge of operating lease management, including compliance with IFRS 16 reporting requirements.
VAT Management: Assist in VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Fixed Assets Oversight: Manage fixed asset registers and ensure accurate recording and reporting.
Accruals and Prepayments: Get involved in the preparation of accruals and prepayments, helping to maintain accurate financial records.
Subsidiary Management Accounts: Take ownership of the management accounts for two subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Month-End Responsibilities: Contribute to various month-end tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
