The Contract Manager will support the Associate Director of Contract Management who is responsible for leading the new contract management function and driving the initial transformation programme and continuing post completion of the initial project. They will provide analysis, undertake contract reviews, work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to provide expert specialist contract management and advice in the support of the Procurement function. This will involve working with senior Trusts managers and clinicians to ensure that the strategy is understood. The post holder will support the development and promotion of contract management. This includes direct involvement in identifying contracted and non-contracted spend, supporting the procurement team in developing suitable contracts with key measurables, liaising with key stakeholders on contract management best practice, identifying areas of improvement and compiling and implementing a contract management policy.
