As a Graduate Chemical Process Engineer with a global manufacturer, your role will be to drive forward ongoing process improvement. This challenging role requires a Masters degree qualified engineer that has gained experience in a process-based heavy engineering industry either through an industrial placement or post graduation.
Your key responsibilities as Graduate Chemical Process Engineer include:
1. Conduct and deliver regular reviews as to the current status of individual projects.
2. Assist in the deployment of Lean techniques throughout the site in all departments.
3. Participate in ensuring that relevant training and development programmes are established for the success of the LEAN tools to be implemented.
4. Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification of equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Your Profile:
1. Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering.
2. Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
3. Previous experience in a process-driven environment.
4. Analytically minded with good problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
