To provide patient focused and high quality clerical support to the Respiratory Diagnostic Department.
To manage the Respiratory Diagnostic admin team.
All clerical staff will be multi-skilled and trained to ensure that at all times, data quality will be the highest priority.
To make appointments according to clinical need.
To ensure patients that need another appointment will be accommodated.
All notes/referrals needed for clinics will be found, reports filed in them and notes tracked to the appropriate person for next appointment.
To help make the department run as smoothly as possible.
To deal with phone queries regarding all aspects of Respiratory investigations

To manage the admin staff to provide high quality support to admin and clinical staff.
· To train admin staff on cancel and rebooking patients, putting patients on the waiting list, booking from the waiting list and linking into the correct referrer.
· To provide support to the Diagnostic Operations Manager when needed.
To carry out amendments/revisions on clinic templates and build new clinics using Allscripts
· To manage a monthly admin rota, updating when needed and to send to the admin team.
· To have action plans in place regarding breach patients.
· To update the Diagnostic Operations Manager on clinic capacity.
· To undertake staff appraisals.
· To assist in managing the DM01, ensuring 100% compliancy.
· To validate the weekly Sunrise report, emailing clinical and admin staff referrals needing to be actioned.
· To validate PTL’s to ensure patients pathways are not delayed.
· To validate the outcome report daily.
· To update the H&S folder and attend meetings.
· To record annual/sick leave using the healthroster system.
· To have admin team staff meetings, this can be daily or weekly.
