About the Role As part of the Graduate Development Program, you will: Lead and Support Teams: Line-manage carers, providing training, mentoring, and professional development. Collaborate with a Care Coordinator: Work with your “buddy” Care Coordinator to manage rotas, leave, sickness, and pay queries, while focusing on the clinical and care elements of your caseload. Hands-On Care: Participate in delivering high-quality care and set an example for your team. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring their care plans meet their needs. Liaise with Professionals: Work closely with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure seamless care delivery. How Line Management Works Care Manager Focus: You’ll handle the clinical side, including care plans, client concerns, carer training, and care-related performance. Care Coordinator Focus: They manage operational aspects such as rotas, leave, pay, and staffing. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for enthusiastic graduates with: A degree or equivalent qualification. 6 months of hands-on care experience in home care or a similar setting (e.g., personal care, medication support, mobility assistance). Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients, carers, and health professionals. A UK driving license and flexibility to travel regularly.
