Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to join our team at Digital Health and Care Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting product vision, prioritisation and well-defined requirements to ensure the user needs are met.
The role will involve strategic planning and leading delivery teams towards smooth development and implementation of products and product enhancements. You will own the roadmap and be responsible for determining the value of software changes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

1. Lead and manage the delivery/ performance of DHCW services in a specific application area.
2. Oversee management and the professional development of your immediate team.
3. Identify and implement service improvements and support change initiatives to enhance service delivery.
4. Act as an enabler of change, driving innovation and transformation in digital healthcare services.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with broader NHS systems and initiatives.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. We work in partnership with NHS Wales colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide national digital and data services which support the delivery of health and social care in Wales. 1. Master's degree in an associated professional field (or equivalent qualification / experience)
2. Further evidence of relevant higher-level education and/or training.
Desirable
1. Theoretical and specialist knowledge gained via relevant certification such as: CPM: Certified Product Manager. Certified Scrum Professional-Product Owner (CSP-PO).
Experience

1. Familiar with methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of multiple complex, high-profile or sensitive projects.
