We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Engineer based at our Seating manufacturing site in Lancashire, responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement, compliance, and effectiveness of the company’s quality management system (QMS). This role will focus on driving process improvements, managing quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing audits. The Role: Develop, implement, maintain and assess the company's QMS, identifying areas for improvement ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001. Maintain traceability and regulatory documentation to support product quality and regulatory audits, compiling reports for submission to regulatory bodies, audits or internal reviews. Support risk management activities, ensuring full ISO compliance across the group, identifying and mitigating potential risks, whilst advising stakeholders on ISO-related topics and business process improvements, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and certifications (i.e ISO), staying current with evolving regulations and industry standards and supporting audits by regulatory bodies, customers, or third parties. Implement Systems and processes to ensure we are compliant with the law and regulations, developing actionable policies and procedures and create guidelines for the organisation Lead internal audits across multiple sites, from planning to reporting, ensuring audit findings and risk objectives are managed effectively. Oversee external audits by assessment bodies and collaborate with the team to ensure audit readiness and ensure proactive resolution of any non-compliance areas. Provide quality system training to employees to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices and support the implementation of process changes and activities impacting regulatory compliance. Support new product introductions (NPIs) by providing quality system guidance and support. Collect and analyse quality data to track process performance, customer complaints, and product defects Prepare and present reports to management, identifying trends, corrective actions, and areas of opportunity for improvement. Utilise statistical tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) or Six Sigma to evaluate quality performance. Conduct supplier audits and track supplier performance, supporting the development and monitoring of supplier corrective actions when necessary. Create top level digestible reports for GHOQ on compliance and risk management audit results and trend analysis. Be the contact between Senator and regulatory body. Manage audit responses, inspections and investigations The Person: Proven track record within a similar Quality role. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards. Experience in executing strategies to deliver business goals. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using quality tools and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Strong leadership skills, guiding, developing and supporting a specialist team. Flexible, enthusiastic and positive approach, with the ability to work under pressure within Change environment. Ability to deliver effective presentations and training courses at all levels. Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing skills. ISO Certified Practitioner Lead Auditor Qualified (ISO 9001, 14001).
