Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, deep understanding of psychological theories, and real-world applications. Assess and monitor student progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential. Encourage independent thinking, research skills, and a passion for psychology both in and out of the classroom. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to the academic success of the students. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and academic achievements. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Psychology or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5. Strong knowledge of psychological concepts, theories, and research. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students. Ability to create a supportive learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about psychology and teaching. Creative in lesson planning and able to engage students with varied learning styles. Strong organizational and time management skills.
