SOMETHING ABOUT ME
I am a young lady in rhydyfelin who enjoys shopping, going to the cinema, playing ten pin bowling and keeping fit and active at the local gym. I’m fairly quiet and reserved at first but once I get to know you I am quite chatty and bubbly.
I need help planning my schedule and don’t like plans being disrupted and changed without due notice. I also need help with budgeting and money management skills. I have not been diagnosed with autism but do have autistic traits.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this job is to help me become as independent as possible. The social hours allocated to promote confidence and engage in age appropriate activities of my choosing.
HOURS OF WORK
8 hours a week
RATE OF PAY
£13.00 per hour
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
Assist with planning my schedule
Help with budgeting and money management skills
Travel with me on public transport
Going to the cinema
Gym sessions
Playing ten pin bowling
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Experience working with learning difficulties is desirable
Calm and patient
Takes time to get to know me and is positive and engaging
Flexible and adaptable
ABOUT THE JOB
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
