Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a small team of midwives to care for women and families with socially complex needs; planning and implementing individualised midwifery led care in partnership with the woman and the multidisciplinary team.
This role involves working alongside multi professional teams to provide the most appropriate care for women while breaking down barriers that can inhibit women with socially complex lives from accessing high-quality maternity care.

* Work closely with the Safeguarding Team, as well as the wider multidisciplinary and inter-agency teams.
* Provide antenatal and postpartum care, reporting deviations from the normal to a more experienced midwife, and responding appropriately to all emergency situations.
* Encourage a holistic, non-stigmatizing approach to socially complex women and their families.
* Work in partnership with other health care professionals and liaise closely with other agencies involved in the provision of maternity services.
