Job Description
The Successful IT Helpdesk Technician will:
* Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
* Install and configure new IT equipment.
* Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
* Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
* Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
* Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
* Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
* Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Help desk Technician should have:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
* Expertise in IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
* Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Brilliant problem solver
* Skilled in active directory, Windows 10/11, Office 365 and Basic Networking
