Job Role: Senior Resourcer
Reports to: Head of Group Skills
Location: Skills, Birmingham
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 40 hours (8.30am - 17.00pm)
Introduction & Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Resourcer looking to take their next step and join the team at Challenge trg Skills.
It will be your responsibility to manage learner attraction and conversions on to training courses alongside day-to-day management of Resourcers for Skills. You will ensure that courses are promoted on job boards, onboarding and with external partners including DWP and connect to work partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external client needs are met.
Duties
* Coordinating learner find requests and ensure a full brief and job description has been provided.
* Promoting courses across various channels including partners, DWP, job boards and within onboarding.
* Maintaining contact and relationships with staff within Jobcentres, promoting awareness and the availability of Challenge Skills Training's courses.
* Day to day management of Resourcers working on learner find including performance management against KPI's
* The role will involve making and receiving a high volume of candidate calls, so a confident and professional phone manner is essential.
* Screening candidates for various government funded training courses that in many cases have a job interview attached.
* Responding to enquiries promptly by telephone and email providing information to prospective learners.
* Reviewing applications, interviewing, and assessing prospective learners to determine if they are suitable against the course eligibility criteria.
* General admin duties associated with screening and booking learners for training courses.
* Knowledge of software packages that include excel, outlook, in house candidate record systems, screening applicants that have applied via numerous job boards and social media sites.
* The job role can be reactive, so a steady head and organisational skills are desirable.
* Use of candidate database to feedback where a learner is in the process, screened, booked for training, attended or course completed.
* Provide potential learners with information on the benefits of completing a course in comparison to normal application processes to encourage learners to attend the training courses.
* Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your day-to-day tasks would be beneficial with this role.
* Produce management information which highlights performance outcomes and areas of risk.
