Job summary This newly formed role provides an excellent opportunity for you to support the delivery of the strategic Mental Health Workforce Plan within Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) UHB and to make a real difference to the experience of the workforce and services users within mental health services in CTM. Working closely with the Retention and Workforce Planning Lead, Head of People, and Mental Health Care Group as well as wider stakeholders, you will have a key role in the design, development and delivery of robust workforce models. These will support multi-disciplinary, multi-professional and multi-agency working which will improve services to services users/citizens. You will work closely with mental health service /clinical leads and key stakeholders to drive changes to skill mix and embedding extended, advanced and new roles to foster innovation and workforce redesign. Main duties of the job You will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience/ qualifications or significant experience of working at a similar level. You will have experience of workforce planning and specialist knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques plus staff or project management knowledge to post graduate diploma level or equivalent. You will have Welsh language speaking at level 1 (entry level) or a willingness to work towards achieving this level. Following dedicated training, you will be expected to undertake the train the trainer development and deliver training in strategic workforce planning in the organisation's wider mental health services. You will be supported by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW's) strategic mental health workforce plan implementation team and the Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) UHB strategic workforce planning team. HEIW are the strategic workforce body for NHS Wales. They have a unique contribution to make in addressing strategic and specialist workforce issues.
