Electrical Site Manager – SW London
Join a Leading M&E Services Provider with Over 55 Years of Excellence
An established mechanical and electrical services provider with over 55 years of experience is looking for an Electrical Site Manager to join its expanding team, operating out of its South West London office. The company has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial, with contract values ranging from £100,000 to over £10 million. With an in-house design team and a solid operational foundation, the business ensures precision, reliability, and exceptional results on every project.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced site manager who is seeking a role within a company that values professionalism, dedication, and consistent performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations across various projects, such as hospitals, schools, warehouses, and office fit-outs. You’ll be working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that every stage of delivery is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Projects are typically located across the South of England, with many sites being within a commutable distance from the SW London office. While previous experience in electrical building services across multiple sectors is highly desirable, it is not essential.
As Electrical Site Manager, you will be overseeing all on-site works, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, coordinating subcontractors and direct labour, and maintaining clear communication with clients and consultants throughout the project. You’ll also be responsible for completing all site documentation, recording variations, and reporting commercial updates to the QS team, ensuring a seamless project workflow from start to finish.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in electrical site management and demonstrate confidence in delivering projects with minimal supervision. A solid understanding of electrical systems and on-site coordination is essential, along with the ability to read technical drawings, lead site teams, and maintain high levels of quality and safety. While not mandatory, holding an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a current JIB grading would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is required for the role.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a long-standing and respected company that offers a consistent pipeline of work, a collaborative environment, and a culture focused on delivering well-managed, successful projects. The role comes with a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience and how much you meet the criteria) plus a package of car allowance, travel, 33 days holiday and bonuses along with support for ongoing development.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a company that recognises your skills and gives you the chance to lead meaningful projects, we’d love to hear from you
