Senior Sales and Account Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Dartford, UK
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission (20%) + Car Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 9:00am-5:30pm
My client is looking for a results driven, experienced Sales and Account Manager to help grow their business in the Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established salesperson who has previously worked for a UK based Freight Forwarder and has the ability to bring on accounts and business. Knowledge and experience of Freight Forwarding Operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
2. Generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
3. Promote the business to new and existing clients to help grow the Freight Forwarding sector.
4. Manage the business, handling bookings through to invoice.
5. Stay up-to-date on current developments in the market and information on competitors.
Requirements:
1. Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience.
2. Road, Air and/or Sea Freight experience.
3. Experience in Freight Forwarding Operations from Booking to Invoice.
4. Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
5. Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
6. Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
7. Full right to live and work in the UK.
