The role of Junior Product Consultant will be based at our Nottingham office and you will be working alongside the Senior Product Consultant. Whilst we operate a hybrid working policy, you will be expected to attend the office on a regular basis following completion of your induction and training. The Role The Junior Product Consultant will support the growth of Altia revenue generation, working as part of the Product Consultancy team who are responsible for engaging with new and existing customers (plus internal stakeholder) to identify value adding requirements. Manage, prioritise, create, and execute plans for delivering Altia product instances plus strategic product capability development to customers. Key Responsibilities: Product Value: Work with the Product Consultants to understand and, from time to time, characterise the product’s user base via activities such as: Definition of market segments/user segments and the creation of personas. Mapping of user journeys/value streams and feature backbones. Engage in activity with the IT and Product teams to ensure product backlogs are being effectively managed, and where necessary, provide insight into the teams around feature requirements to better understand current and future value propositions for Altia products. Product Planning & Design: Support the Product Consultancy team in gathering requirements and process mapping to be able to introduce new features/functionality into current Altia products and/or create new products for customers. Assist in managing the backlog of work in Microsoft Azure DevOps. Engage with the development team(s) to estimate the size and complexity of work items on the backlog, prior to development Assist in the design and planning of software which will require database design, creation of process flow charts and screen layouts. Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand current demands and constraints, and prioritising the backlog of Altia products work accordingly. Product Development & Configuration: Undertake Altia Platform configuration work as necessary e.g., creating instances or demos of the solution for new customers, extending capability for existing customers and/or in support of product migration. Create and design software processes using our no code platform to solve logical problems. Manage the status and progress of work within Azure DevOps creating appropriate reporting as necessary. Product Support: Be the knowledgeable expert on Altia Platform able to resolve questions and issues. Support customers through the installation and Altia products adoption process. Help with testing other product consultancy designs, configuration and customer work as well as reporting any bugs found. Work with Sales, Marketing and Support to develop and deliver product communications to inform current and potential users about the product.
