We are looking for a friendly, experienced cook to join and lead our small kitchen team. The position is 36-38 hours per week over 4 days (please note that there is flexibility with the shift pattern, although some weekend work is essential). An interest in baking is essential, and there is an opportunity for much creative input from the right candidate.
KEY DUTIES
1. Day to day running of the kitchen, including baking and food preparation.
2. Planning daily specials and generating ideas for future menus.
3. Working successfully with other kitchen staff, managing time and prioritising tasks efficiently.
4. Stock management.
5. Ensuring appropriate hygiene measures are maintained by all kitchen staff.
