Job Title: Aftermarket Sales Representative (2-year fixed term contract) Salary/Grade: £44,980 - £56,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location : Larne Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Up to 12% bonus Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6% Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution. The opportunity FG Wilson, within Caterpillar's Electric Power Division, has been a leader within the power generation industry for almost 60 years. Our generator sets have been trusted to provide essential power to a wide range of applications globally. From 6.8 to 2,500 kVA, FG Wilson o?ers one of the widest ranges of diesel-fuelled generator sets, built in modern global facilities. We have a network of dealers across the world, supporting our customers with everything from product selection to installation and a lifetime of service. The FG Wilson team is expanding to support our exciting growth objectives and this is an excellent opportunity to be part of that journey. This is a critical role helping to deliver FG Wilson's Parts & Services growth strategy, reporting to the European & Latin America Sales Manager. This role will work with customers, dealers and internal departments to support delivering a world-class aftermarket Parts & Services support to our customers. From understanding customer needs and market trends, to setting growth targets with dealers and working with internal functions such as engineering, operations and marketing to deliver what our customers need. What you will do: Work closely with customers, internal functions and external dealers to ensure customer needs are identified and understood. Ensure FG Wilson key sales growth initiatives related to parts & services are delivered. Identify territory and/or services offerings growth opportunities through engagement with global sales teams. Ensure customer solutions are developed and executed in a timely manner. Communicates the importance of customer needs/expectations and commits to resolving them. Researches and verifies customer needs and expectations. Works closely with internal functions and external dealers to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner. Documents proposed product/service solutions to be presented to potential customers. Works closely with engineering and operations teams to determine how customer needs can be met. Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns. Assists in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal functions, including leadership teams, and externally with customers and/or dealers. This position is requiring a 5-day weekly office presence onsite at our Larne office.
