Job Description NDT Inspector - time served Full time Derby, fully site – based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NDT Inspector to join our Disc, Drums and Part 145 Facility in Derby, part of Rotatives UK and Compression. Working as part of a high performing team, you will carry out fluorescent penetrant inspection, and rotary hole ET eddy current testing on a range of engine parts, working to written instructions, specifications & standards. Ideally, you will have experience in an aerospace environment and ideally hold Rolls-Royce NDT approvals i.a.w. RPS915. As you will be using a variety of software applications, you will need to be computer literate. Why Rolls-Royce? What you will be doing: Set up and standardise equipment, systematically inspect parts, and interpret / evaluate against acceptance criteria, and document results. You will also: Conduct system performance checks i.a.w. applicable standard. Provide guidance and supervision to trainees. Work to the relevant Rolls-Royce Quality & Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures. Undertake basic housekeeping tasks, including 5s activity, process and compliance. L2 approval for FPI and ET Extensive knowledge of the scope and limitations of the NDT technique / method. Ability to follow written procedures e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Standards & NDT Technique Instructions Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology.
