🔥 The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Workshop Manager with a passion for production planning, team leadership, and process improvement? We’re seeking a motivated and hands-on leader to oversee production operations in a fast-paced engineering environment.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Lead & manage a team of 30+ across Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Machine Shop, Press/Laser Shop & Goods In

✅ Oversee production planning & scheduling to meet customer requirements

✅ Implement lean manufacturing & 5S processes to drive efficiency

✅ Monitor quality control and ensure all products meet ISO 9001 standards

✅ Conduct staff training, appraisals, and development planning

✅ Ensure health & safety compliance and enforce best practices

✅ Work closely with Directors on business performance & improvement strategies

💡 What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Strong background in production planning & workshop management

🔹 Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S & process improvement

🔹 Knowledge of engineering drawings & manufacturing processes

🔹 Excellent leadership & people management skills

🔹 Health & Safety knowledge within an engineering environment
