As Housekeeping Assistant at St Quentin's, you will oversee and ensure top-notch cleanliness throughout the care home. Your role is essential in maintaining a pristine environment and promoting safety.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering housekeeping services: Working in the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness throughout the home, coordinating deep cleaning routines, and upholding high standards in linen and gown supply.
2. Exceptional team leadership: Supporting a team of Housekeeping assistants, managing schedules, and ensuring staff development.
3. Commitment to Learning: Be a learner for life, complying with policies, and supporting team members' development and training.
Your duties will include but are not limited to: ensuring all ensuite Resident Rooms are cleaned daily 24/7 as per business operational requirements, ensuring communal areas including staff and visitor areas are cleaned daily. Deep cleaning will be as and when required. All staff to take particular care when cleaning to avoid any damage to residents’ property and also be mindful of damaging any other properties belonging to HMT (includes wall sockets, electrical furnishings or appliances). All chemicals and equipment to be kept in the chemical room under COSHH regulations.
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of colour coded cleaning materials
* Knowledge of infection and hygiene procedures, health and safety, and COSHH regulations
* Infection Control
* QCF/NVQ Level 1 / 2 Cleaning and Support Services
