What’s the role about?
As part of our Outlets Merchandising department, you’ll be joining us as our Assistant Merchandiser, who is responsible for supporting the Merchandiser with planning and trading of the division to drive sales, maximize profit, and minimize markdowns.
Who you are
* You have experience in a similar role at Assistant Merchandiser level or established Senior Merchandising Admin/Senior Allocator.
* Previous experience within an Outlets team is preferred.
* Highly analytical with strong numerical skills, advanced in Microsoft Excel.
* Good understanding of the WSSI & the WSSI process.
* Commerciality awareness.
* Passion to develop a long-term career within Merchandising.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and plan workload by priority in line with department requirements.
* Initiative, self-motivation, and ownership.
What you’ll be doing
* Producing weekly trading reports to summarize, analyze, and identify key drivers.
* Managing order placement and intake plans with suppliers to maintain planned stock levels.
* Reviewing and reforecasting continuity lines on a regular basis.
* Managing intake into the warehouse in conjunction with the buying team, warehouse, and suppliers.
* Highlighting delivery discrepancies and proposing necessary actions to take.
* Working closely with the Trainee Merchandiser to manage intake and allocation of stock.
* Supporting the Merchandiser in trading category areas and creation of Lessons Learned.
* Producing sizing analysis and reviewing slow lines, proposing & actioning markdowns.
* Producing attribute analysis, color, price, sizing across all channels and ad hoc analysis on ranges in preparation for buying reviews.
* Attending Critical Path meetings.
