We’re now looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, to support the Manufacturing team within the business.

With responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing quality assurance and quality control, you will support the business in aligning, improving and maintaining ISO13485 processes, to ensure full compliance. This will also involve compliance with all internal Quality Management Systems, H&S and Environmental requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous working experience of QMS systems and ISO13485 to develop and grow within a thriving organisation.

The Role
- Perform inspection and verification of completed products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Identify non-conforming parts for rework or rejection and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Log and report quality issues to the Manufacturing Manager, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Implement and oversee clear acceptance and rejection procedures with proper documentation.
- Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support and monitor quality inspection procedures and work instructions in collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager and Quality & Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager.
- Interpret engineering drawings, including dimensioning and tolerances, to ensure product accuracy.
- Maintain an organised and efficient workspace, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist in quality data analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor raw material and component inventory to prevent shortages or defects.
- Complete and update relevant IT systems and maintain daily/weekly reports.
Working week: Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week.
About You
To be considered as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will need:
- A strong level of IT literacy with experience of common desktop applications including Excel and Word
- Experience of working with quality management software, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve strict production deadlines under pressure
- The ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation
- The ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate positively and effectively with others
- To be detail-orientated and strive for continuous improvement
