An established and dynamic project management consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator to ensure seamless operations within their bustling office. Working closely with the senior team, including direct support to the Director, the Office Administrator will play a key role in administrative functions and project coordination, fostering a collaborative and efficient office environment.
The Office Administrator's Role
The successful Office Administrator will manage daily scheduling, organise meetings, and maintain key project timelines. Responsibilities extend to coordinating business networking events and assisting with team and client gatherings, handling logistics and venue arrangements. They will oversee document accuracy through proofreading, maintain critical records, and support business development tracking to align with strategic goals.
The Office Administrator will also provide general support across teams, handling ad-hoc tasks, drafting communications, and managing document templates. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a Project Coordinator role, enhancing involvement in project delivery as skills and experience develop.
The Office Administrator
Strong organisational skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
Prior experience in scheduling, event organisation, and record maintenance.
High attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and document management.
Ability to work independently and in a team with a proactive, can-do approach.
Experience in a similar administrative or PA role, preferably within professional services.
