Annual salary: up to £40,000.00 Fleet Manager Location: Ealing Full Time Permanent Salary up to £40,000 per annum, 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday -Friday) Pyramid Plus South, a joint venture partnership between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, provides repairs and maintenance, compliance, planned replacements and fire risk assessment works. We successfully complete over 35,000 repairs, 1,000 voids and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually to 23,500 homes. With a wide range of upcoming projects, there are exciting times ahead as we continue to grow As a fleet manager you will be responsible for the efficient operation and management of the company’s fleet of commercial vehicles, including oversight of all fleet-related activities such as MOTs, servicing, repairs, fuel management, parking fines, and fleet tracking systems to ensure that the fleet operates smoothly, complies with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and meets the organisation’s operational needs. Day to day duties: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in good working order, including preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and avoid costly repairs, ensuring all vehicles are operated safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations and conducting regular checks to ensure that drivers adhere to safety standards and that vehicles are fitted with appropriate safety equipment. Monitor fleet utilisation and ensure optimal use of vehicles to support business operations. Implement clear lines of communication & Process on fleet Management for Operations staff taking a structured approach to minimise impact on service delivery and downtime, providing monthly reporting in line with commercial reviews and quarterly highlight report to Branch leads on Fleet. Co-ordinate annual vehicle stock auditing regime across the contract Ensure all vehicles have valid MOTs, road tax, and insurance, and comply with legal requirements, scheduling and coordinating servicing, repairs, and inspections in line with manufacturer recommendations and legal requirements, coordinating with external service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance and ensuring that all repairs are carried out to a high standard and within budget. Manage vehicle documentation and records, ensuring all fleet records are accurate and up to date. Manage the fleet tracking system to monitor vehicle usage, fuel efficiency, and driver behaviour, analysing tracking data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Handle all parking fines, speeding tickets, and other penalties related to fleet vehicles, ensuring they are processed promptly and implement measures to minimise future occurrences of fines and penalties. Monitor and control the fleet budget, ensuring that all fleet-related expenses are within budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce fleet operating costs. Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures. Role Criteria: Proven experience in management of significant vehicle numbers Experience with fleet tracking systems and analysing telematics data. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, MOTs, servicing, and repairs. Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage budgets and control costs. Familiarity with legal regulations and compliance related to vehicle management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
