We are seeking a Retail Operations Clerk to play a key role in supporting our retail strategy by optimising retail income and ensuring efficient financial operations. This is a part time role, working with our small and friendly Retail Operations team based at our Swindon office. A typical day would involve managing and processing invoices payments, chasing outstanding payments to general admin duties such as processing stationary orders and supporting stock queries. Your Key Responsibilities Ensure all invoices received for equipment, stationary, consumables and service contracts are verified and matched to a requisition Purchase order number before sending onto the finance department for payment. Assist the Retail operations supervisor in the development and production of timely reporting for budgeting and cost monitoring purposes. Resolution of any queries from suppliers, incorrect invoices/credit notes. Assist the Operations team to maintain accurate records for any area of compliance, operations or administration work that is required such as Business Continuity, Health and Safety, Internal Audit, procurement, and store opening and closing programmes. Manage administrative requests from other business partners: Working closely with the Retail Senior team & Project Managers to ensure all requests for information, material, equipment etc are responded to promptly and efficiently. What you will need Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to organise your own workload to meet deadlines, and efficient time management Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team to achieve common goals Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, word, excel, PowerPoint, Email and internet.
