An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Claims Handler with commercial insurance experience to join a dynamic and growing team in north Leeds.
You’ll be responsible for progressing claims through to a successful resolution, whilst providing a first class service to clients and third parties.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Taking first notification of loss for a range of commercial claims
* Losses include Motor, Property, Liabilities, PI and Business Interruption
* You will play an important role in the day-to-day handling of commercial insurance claims for a range of clients, ensuring a smooth transition through the process
* You will liaise with insurers to ensure effective claims outcome and smooth handling of the claims in a professional manor
* Maintaining of all claim’s records aligned with the company’s best practices and SLA’s
* Work closely with the Claims Manager to deliver consistently high levels of service
* Preparation of claims reports for review and renewal client meetings
* Handling complaints in line with our company complaints policy
* Support other needs of the business as required from time to time
Required Skills:
* Previous claims handling experience is desired, however those from a Commercial Account Handler background will be considered
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Passionate approach to the delivery of market leading customer service
* Experience with Acturis is desirable, however full training will be provided
* Experience is using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000, plus 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, support for proessional qualifications, hybrid working and free on-site parking. You will be provided with excellent training and on-going support.
