An exciting opportunity has arisen for a RICS Registered Valuer to join a well-established and respected property consultancy in Cardiff. Whether you're an experienced Senior Surveyor or Associate, this role offers a chance to work with one of the largest property consultancy teams in Wales, delivering exceptional valuation services to public and private sector clients.
Role Highlights
As part of our specialist Cardiff-based Valuation Team, you will deliver a wide range of valuation services, including:
* Asset Valuations: Public and private sector valuations for financial reporting purposes using comparable, investment, Depreciated Replacement Cost, and residual appraisal methods.
* Specialist Valuations: For Capital Gains, Inheritance Tax, Charities Act, and sale/purchase purposes.
* Development Appraisals: Conducting development and viability appraisals for varied property types.
* Client Interaction: Collaborating with both private and public sector clients across Wales, including asset managers, developers, and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct property inspections and measured surveys.
* Collate market comparables and undertake all necessary research.
* Produce valuation reports covering the Welsh region.
* Engage directly with clients to deliver high-quality advice and service.
* Collaborate with other teams, such as agency, investment, and property management, to support the business's integrated approach.

Ideal Candidate Profile
* RICS Registered Valuer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
* Proven expertise in Red Book valuations, covering a wide range of property types.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong prioritization and communication skills, with a focus on client service.
* Desirable Skills:
o Fluency in Welsh (not essential but advantageous).
o Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Kel, and Argus Developer.
Additional Requirements
* A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
* Experience producing valuations for financial reporting, tax, and development purposes will be highly beneficial.
