Come Join Our Team We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Wickford, Essex. Our client is a young child who is tracheostomy and ventilator dependant. However, while requiring specialist care, she likes to go to school and learn something new every day. She's looking for someone to support her at school, enabling her to engage in a variety of activities and help her to enjoy her independence safely and confidently. Due to the clients support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have complex care experience, ideally an understanding of tracheostomy care and airway protection, along with a full UK driving licence. Combining this with the softer skills of patience, empathetic, adaptable and being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client and build a solid, supporting relationship. Pay: £11.55 per hour Hours: 40 Per Week (Term time only, Monday - Friday 08:45 - 16:45) Key Responsibilities: Supporting attendance and active participation in school activities. Managing ventilation and tracheostomy care along with gastrostomy needs. Ensure mobility and independence are supported safely while fostering confidence and self reliance. Airway protection. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. To be able to deal with challenging situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
