We are seeking to recruit x3 exam invigilators to play a key role in upholding the integrity of the external and internal examination process and to ensure examinations are carried out according to the rules set by the examination boards.
You will be jointly responsible for assisting the Examinations Officer with:
1. ensuring exam rooms are set up according to requirements
2. administration and supervision of examinations, observing candidates at all times and dealing with any incidents or irregularities
3. collection of completed examination scripts and materials
This will be a casual contract and you should be available to work as required during exam periods. We expect you to hold qualifications that demonstrate a good level of literacy and numeracy and GCSE’s including English and Maths at Grade C or 4 and above.
A knowledge of the examination procedures and their requirements, familiarity with the JCQ instructions for conducting examinations as well as proven experience of working with young people would be desirable; however, in-house training will be given to ensure that you are aware of the responsibilities and procedures.
