Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on food safety and culinary excellence. Duties
1. Oversee all aspects of daily operations within the restaurant and hotel, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Manage and lead a team of staff, including cooks, bartenders, and service personnel, to deliver exceptional service.
3. Implement food safety protocols and ensure all staff are trained in safe food production practices.
4. Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
5. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
6. Collaborate with culinary teams to create innovative menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to food safety standards.
7. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.
8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within restaurant or hotel settings.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
3. Exceptional team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
4. Experience in bartending or culinary roles is advantageous.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
