We are actively looking for someone to join the Lanes Anglian Water Contract responsible for scheduling of works on drainage and wastewater infrastructure within East Anglia. About the role: The role of the Planner/Scheduler will entail in assisting with the scheduling of HGV Tankering and Jetting units covering both reactive and planned works. This role suits someone looking for a combination of office related administrative tasks, planning ahead and being able to problem solve reactively. Location: Woolpit, Suffolk Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 40.5 hours per week Salary: £28,000pa Responsibilities: Optimising, preparing and scheduling the preventive, planned and remedial maintenance. You will schedule work orders in accordance with SLA’s, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity. Working closely with the engineers to identify and rectify issues whilst improving the effectiveness of the operations department. Maintaining high standards within Health, Safety & Environment, Housekeeping, Performance, Waste, Communication and Continuous Improvement. Effectively supporting the Operations Manager and operations team to meet output requirements in quality expectations, cost management and the delivery of key objectives and operational performance targets. Managing and coordinating the promoted workload according to defined priorities, estimating resource and duration requirements in line with agreed metrics. Participate and supporting scheduled meetings. About you: Experience of working within a fast paced environment would be advantageous A keen willingness for progression Ability to make decisions in a time pressured environment. Competent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
