My client, an Engineering company based in the Droitwich area, is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a Permanent basis.
The main functions of the role include:
1. Keep all financial records updated
2. Support the finance team with payments and invoices
3. Manage Bank Reconciliations and transactions on a daily basis
4. Support payroll
5. General admin tasks to support the finance team
6. Chasing late payments
7. Manage expenses
8. Assist with audits
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following:
1. Ideally hold AAT Level 2 or similar Accounting qualification
2. Previous experience supporting payroll function
3. Strong IT Skills including experience of payroll systems such as SAGE
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Strong attention to detail
6. This role will require you to work 5 days a week on-site (no hybrid option)
The salary on offer is up to £28,000.
