Role Summary
Working as part of a wider team you will have the responsibility for developing the technical ability of Operations through additional 'on desk' training sessions, feedback mechanisms such as QA Check Fails and OPS updates. You will be required to create and own skills Matrixes to display things such as, but not limited to, Talent Programmes, Career development and Succession planning
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
* Continuous improvement and skill development of Administrators
* Completion of targeted work to deadlines and required level of accuracy
* Contribution to company objectives
* Provision of technical guidance and advice on complex/sensitive queries
* Working well with teams, team leaders and supporting colleagues
* Professional communication in both written and oral forms
* Provision of tailored training
* Analysis and trends highlighted and reporting
* Be aware of the implications of operational losses and log these on Logicgate when required. Reduce operational losses through a culture of continuous improvement.
* Be prepared to make phone calls to members of the pension scheme in order to remedy and resolve high profile complaints/escalations.
* Provide monthly statistics reporting to the Relationship Director, including complaints, disclosure and data events for inclusion on SRM pack to client.
* Review/investigate interface errors from the monthly upload in order to correct/liaise with the client.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours:
* Good awareness of scheme rules, industry regulations, current pension legislation
* General all-round knowledge of team and company products and services
* Compendia knowledge: Experience to a high level including bespoke payroll authorisation, including running complicated workflows and confidence in making manual updates and using workflows to customise existing records. Possess the ability to interpret and understand Compendia records, be able to identify errors and omissions, then have the technical knowledge to resolve these problems
* Excel experience: A strong grasp of Excel functions, including the development and maintaining of calculators. The ability to confidently use existing spreadsheets and also have the expertise to develop new solutions, experience of producing Mail Merges
* Literacy and comprehension, the ability to understand complex process and requirement
* Communication skills: The ability to discuss and explain the decisions, calculations and the Schemes in general to members and employers

* Focus on the customer journey and continuous improvement
