The Role:
Our client, a leading national supplier of building supplies into the house building sector, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales within the New Build housing market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within regional and national house builders.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients within the house building sector.
3. Identify new business opportunities and drive market share growth.
4. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
5. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports.
6. Collaborate with marketing, internal sales, and customer service teams.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record of success in sales management within the building materials or construction sector, with a particular emphasis on house builders.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
4. Commercially astute with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
5. Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
6. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Proven experience within the building materials sector.
