Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Youth Justice Improvement Lead to support the enhancement of youth justice services. You will drive improvements in service delivery, ensuring that young people receive the appropriate interventions to prevent offending and re-offending. You will work closely with multi-agency teams to implement best practices, improve outcomes for vulnerable youth, and meet statutory requirements.
Requirements for the Interim Youth Justice Improvement Lead role:
* Proven experience in youth justice, social care, or related fields.
* Strong understanding of the Youth Justice Board’s National Standards and relevant legislation.
* Previous experience leading service improvements and managing change in a complex, multi-agency environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build partnerships across sectors.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and case management processes.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and support a diverse team.
* A degree in social work, criminology, law, or related fields.
* Experience working within local government or youth offending teams.
* A solid understanding of the challenges facing young people in the criminal justice system.
