University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust
As an organisation we are Birmingham and Solihull's largest employer, with over 22,500 permanent staff and 6000+ on our internal staffing bank. Without our people, we would be unable to deliver the 1st class care to our patients both in the community and within our 4 main hospitals.
Led by the Senior Recruitment Manager, Kate Shields, the Medical Resourcing Department is the front door to all candidates seeking to join our clinical teams across University Hospitals Birmingham. Recognising the importance of this department, we have created two permanent full-time career opportunities to support the huge growth plans in 2043 and beyond.
Main duties of the job
You will support departments across the Trust in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of clinical professionals. You will ensure high quality services to both department and candidate and will provide efficient and consistent communication in order to meet the set KPI's. This will include:
* Supporting the delivery of a high-quality recruitment and selection service for the appointment of non-medical staff.
* Undertaking a variety of clerical tasks including:
o Word processing creating basic documents.
o Data input, accurately inputting data using a variety of Trust IT systems in a timely way.
o Undertaking filing, photocopying, and scanning of documents as required.
o Answering the telephone and taking messages, dealing with them in a timely and efficient way and referring on as appropriate.
o Receiving and opening incoming post and acting as required.
o Reviewing and actioning electronic correspondence and disseminating appropriately.
In return, you can expect to join like-minded people who deliver unequivocal excellence in all aspects of their role. You will be passionate about service delivery and will want to make a difference to the communities we live and work in. You will mirror our Trust values of being Kind, Connected, and Bold.
You will be supported in your move to UHB with a comprehensive induction, along with ongoing training and development to ensure you have all the tools and resources to be the best you can be.
