Hunter Philips is currently seeking a HSE Advisor with monopile foundation fabrication experience to work with a new supplier for our client who is a global leader in renewable energy.
Initial contract length of 9 months plus potential extensions, working pattern is Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. On shore UK factory-based role – inside of IR35.
Responsibilities:
* Reduce TRIR and NCR among Fabrication suppliers
* Ensure Fabrication suppliers comply with client’s HSE requirements
* Plan and conduct supplier assessments based on risk
* Provide HSE support to Package and Fabrication Teams
* Implement and track Supplier HSE improvements and Assurance/Activity Plan
* Contribute to HSE supplier performance reporting
* Communicate and coordinate HSE initiatives across teams
Requirements:
* 10 years of experience within QHSE Management to include 5 years of relevant experience within mature industrial manufacturing, ideally within monopile foundation fabrication.
* Practical experience in welding and workshop is highly desirable.
* Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level or similar – preferably to diploma level or similar.
* Experience within Incident investigations and Root Cause Identification.
* Knowledge of local Health and Safety Regulations required.
* Valid training required in: Work at Height (e.g. GWO) and First Aid.
* Valid medical certificate (to fulfil Fabrication Supplier requirements).
